What to Expect at Your Hearing

Your hearing will take place at an office at the Department of Public Safety. It will be conducted by a representative from the Drivers License Division.

The police officer involved in your drunk driving arrest will appear, either in person or over the phone, to describe the incident. The officer will talk about the evidence involved and other issues.

Then it's our turn. We will carefully cross-examine the police officer, challenging any information that is not accurate or may have been handled improperly. If we have located other witnesses that may be of value, we will bring them in to discuss the incident.

Finally, we will present our closing statement, during which we will make a compelling argument to prevent your drivers license from being suspended.
